“You moved my bag”, the You Kicked My Dog of airline travel.
Why must fellow flyers be so adverse to you moving their rollerboard bags about 6 inches to the left in order to fit yours nicely in the overhead stow?
Colleagues of mine and I are generally on the same flight home every week. The entire flight is business travelers with most of us being herded on the plane moaning about how we don’t have lifetime status and therefore never get upgraded on this particular flight. I almost feel sorry for those taking this flight for non-business purposes - if only because they don’t have a rollerboard or a cool laptop bag that has ‘Microsoft Vista’ or ‘Warner Bros. Marketing Department Softball Team’ stiched into it.
On such a flight home, when I was new to an engagement, an unfortunate colleague of mine got pelted with the token “Hey, don’t move other people’s bag!” by the Travel Nazi. The kicker… I currently work with the Travel Nazi on some client tasks. Vegas declined taking odds on this.
